After completing a 30-minute workout, riders embark on a one- or two-hour segway tour of downtown Memphis.
Start Location: 136 GE Patterson Avenue, Memphis, TN, 38103
Tour Requirements: All riders must wear a helmet (their own or provided by a Segway Memphis), have a valid ID, and read and sign a disclaimer. Segway riders must be 12 years of age or older. If the rider is under the age of 18, he must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult who can sign the waiver form. All riders must weigh between 100 and 300 pounds and complete Segway training to the satisfaction of their guide.
Recommended clothing: comfortable but not loose clothing; Safe, flat, comfortable shoes, preferably closed-toe sneakers or athletic shoes. Flip-flops, high heels, or wedges don’t fit. Dress for the weather as a tour is a ride or a shine.
Excursion: Please arrive early; 5-10 minutes before the scheduled tour time. After registration of the riders, there will be a 30-minute training session with a training video. This training must be completed to the satisfaction of the guide prior to the start of the tour.
